Six String Surgery was founded by a lifelong guitarist with over 35 years of playing experience and a deep passion for the craft of instrument building and repair. Having performed in several bands throughout the years, I developed a strong understanding of how a guitar should feel, play, and respond on stage.
Alongside my musical background, I built a career as an experienced CAD engineer, combining precision design with hands-on craftsmanship. Over time, I have worked on countless guitars—both my own and those belonging to fellow musicians—refining setups, electronics, repairs, and custom modifications.
My love for innovation naturally led me into CNC machining, where I blend highly accurate digital design with traditional luthiery techniques. This approach allows me to create everything from custom guitar bodies and necks to complete bespoke instruments.
Today, Six String Surgery is not just a personal passion, but a family craft. I am proud to be training my son to work on guitars as well, passing on the skills, knowledge, and dedication that have shaped my own journey. Together, we aim to continue improving our craft and supporting musicians with quality work they can trust.
